Water Walkers

Faith has always created an environment for God to move. The ability to block distractions that will arise is essential for the success of any leader. Peter was able to walk on water as long as his eyes stayed focused on Jesus.

And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink

Matthew 14: 29 & 30

Peter walked on water in the midst of unfavorable circumstances. As a leader, you may find that you are required to activate your greatest faith during your toughest storm. Stay focused. Here are five tips for navigating through life’s rough waters:

    1. Remember that the trials you are currently facing were not designed to destroy but rather to equip you for the level of leadership you are called to function in
    2. Be willing to sacrifice momentary pleasures for long-term success
    3. Believe in the process in which God has placed you in this season
    4. Accept the fact that God is able to equip you with the grace required for your journey
    5. Lastly, embrace the understanding that all seasons will change and that all things work together for your good according to Romans 8:28.

Leaders are called to endure extraordinary storms but know that when you feel yourself falling, God is always there to pick us up.

We pray that God’s strength is with you today. Hold on to your faith despite how things may look right now. You will survive and thrive again! Stay focused in the storm. You are called to be a Water Walker!
